What is PEDAL GEEKS MEETING?
A space connected by effects pedals: “Discover, Collect, Use, Create”
PEDAL GEEKS MEETING (PGM) is open to everyone involved with effects pedals: not only pedal makers and sellers, but also players, artists, media, application developers, and others.
We value the idea of a “fan-created event for pedals” and aim to provide an open, equitable place where anyone can take part, regardless of position or scale.
Since our first event in Tokyo in 2024, PGM has grown with the support of exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors. In 2026 we held our first event outside Tokyo, in Kobe, exhibited at Yokohama Music Style, and saw exhibitors start spin-off events of their own. PGM is gradually becoming a community, not just an event.
We chose the word “geeks” on purpose. Geeks are sometimes seen as shy, but we do not think so. Many simply have not had a place to meet each other and share what they love.
PGM is that place: open, friendly to beginners and newcomers, and made to widen the circle of people who enjoy pedals. Exhibitors demo through headphones, so everyone can talk, try, and connect.
We believe the seeds of new possibilities are found in what each participant thinks, feels, and wants to do.
